  • CPL Check Mark   Match Date: Matches will take place on November 10th.
  • CPL Check Mark   Arrival Time: All teams must report to the ground by 8:00 AM sharp. Matches will begin at 8:30 AM.
  • CPL Check Mark   Dress Code: Team jersey, track pants in black, grey or dark blue (Short pants, jeans, and formals are not allowed). Sports shoes are mandatory.
  • CPL Check Mark   Registration: Employee ID Card is required.
  • CPL Check Mark   Food & Beverage: Food & Beverage: Coupons will be distributed during registration from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Coupons are required to receive food and beverages.

Game Rules:

  • Bowling Style: Over-arm bowling only.
  • Tournament Format: Knockouts and qualifications, followed by semi-finals and finals.
  • Qualification:
    • 10 teams will play knockout games.
    • Out of 5 winners, top 3 with highest net run rate qualifies to semi-finals.
    • 4th & 5th winners will play knockout match for the 4th semi-final spot.
    • If the match is tied, team will play a super over. If the super over is also tied, then the team with least number of wickets in the knockout game will be declared winner.
    • If the wicket count is same, team with most boundaries will be declared winner.
  • Overs per Match:
    • Qualification & Semi-final rounds: 6 overs per inning.
    • Finals: 8 overs per inning.
    • Overs may be adjusted on-site depending on time.
  • Team Size: A maximum of 15 players per team; any 11 male or female may play.
  • Bowling Limit: Each bowler can bowl a maximum of one over, with one bowler allowed to bowl two overs in a 6-over match.
  • Fielding: No power play overs; only 5 players are allowed outside the 30-yard circle. Violations may result in a no-ball.
  • Final Match Bowling: One bowler may bowl up to 2 overs in the finals.
  • Equipment: Matches will use a hard tennis ball (Tennex or similar). A new ball will be provided for each match.
  • Tie-Breaker: In the event of a tie, a super over will be used. If the super over also ties, the team with the least wickets lost in the regular 6-over game will win.
  • Ball Rules: Wide balls, no-balls, and free-hit rules apply as per standard cricket regulations. Leg Before Wicket (LBW) will not apply due to the tennis ball’s unpredictable bounce.
  • Team Management: Captains are responsible for ensuring team attendance and maintaining decorum.
  • Player Retirement: Captains may retire out a maximum of 2 players per batting innings.
  • Match Timings: Timings are strict. Any changes will be at the discretion of the organizing committee and will be binding on all team captains.
  • Umpire’s Decision: The umpire’s decision is final.
  • Rule Modifications: The organizing committee reserves the right to amend any rule if necessary. Changes will be binding on all teams.
  • Schedule Disclosure: The match schedule will be announced on the ground. Teams must adhere to the schedule.
